My Dream

My name is Julia and I am eleven years old and I go to a gifted class called S.O.A.R. and this class inspired me to help a living thing. How you ask, well in October a little denim doll came into our class room in a suitcase and the whole class including me was confused it was a blank denim doll in classroom full of eleven year old everyone thought Mrs. Carlson was crazy but then she explained that this doll will become a somebody if each and every one of the class helps a living thing. so I juggled my choices. At first I was going to help the Tiger but then there was the Panda and the Polar Bear. But one night my mom told me that my grandpa was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and that's when I new that that was what I was going to do. I sold Popsicles at Hamlet Public School and made $251 that means more than half of the school bought Popsicles. So after that was all done I felt really good but I wanted to do more

How This is Going To Work

Every few months i am going to have a fundraiser where I will be selling an item to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. You can email me at jcressman@hotmail.ca or you can call at (519) 273 5652 and we can arrange for you to pick it up (we will tell you the address when you call or email) or we can drop it off at your house. various prices will be made for different items. I you are not interested in the item we put up then you can always donate which will also work with the phone and email idea. I hope you help me and my plan to help the Alzheimer's Society.
